Jay Nash, PGA





After graduating from Saint Leo University with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing, Jay worked in several different fields before following his passion for the game of golf. In 1991, Jay started as First Assistant Golf Professional at historic Bent Tree Country Club and in 1994, Jay earned his PGA Class A Card, becoming the Head Golf Professional at the original Forest Lakes Golf Club. Since the club’s closing, Jay has worked at several world renowned clubs including The Concession Golf Club and internships at The Country Club in Brookline, MA (Site of the 1999 Ryder Cup), and Ballymeade Country Club in Cape Cod.
Jay is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. He and his wife, Marcie, have two sons – Jake and Tanner. In addition to his duties as Head Golf Professional and Teaching Professional at The Palms Golf Club, Jay is currently the Head Golf Coach at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School in Sarasota (where he played number one in his high school career). With his 25 years of experience, Jay has a great understanding and respect for the game of golf.
